Giving Back

Because we love to give back to our community!
“It is the Foundation’s goal to bring people and resources together to help families face ALS with dignity and strength. All of our efforts are focused on collecting and distributing the necessary help and resources to local Central Texas families facing ALS. We bring donors and volunteers alike together to organize fundraising events that help fund projects and services that can change the lives of families. We work hand-in-hand with the National ALS Association to determine how to best aid the families in need.”
The Busby Foundation empowers Central Texas ALS patients and their families by providing support and assistance in an effort to comfort them and address the overwhelming demands and lifestyle changes that come with the disease.

“Our volunteers, mentors and involved parents are at the core of this momentum. Our process and programs provide the necessary support and structure.

We are breaking the cycle of generational incarceration and awakening the potential within each child by empowering them to pursue a sustainable career.

The heart of our process is rooted in our four E’s: Encourage, Engage, Educate, and Empower.”

Proverbs226 is an evidence-based non-profit committed to healing families affected by parental incarceration. They create the positive momentum in a child’s life that opens doors, allows healing, and drives change.

The Wimberley Education Foundation supports Wimberley Independent School District by generating and distributing resources in support of enriching curriculum, fostering innovation, promoting excellence in education, and inspiring a life-time love for learning. The Foundation directors are comprised of community members, parents, business leaders and non-profit champions who work in partnership with the Wimberley ISD team to optimize the learning environment for local students. The Foundation and the District are grateful for the generous benefactors whose altruism is making a difference every day in classrooms. From pups in the high school agriculture building to a garden at the elementary school, boosting the resources and tools lead to greater innovation and achievement at all levels.
