Shawn joined Vitek-McIver Homes in March 2022 as a Superintendent, bringing extensive experience in both custom and high-end production homebuilding. Prior to joining Vitek-McIver, he served as a Senior Superintendent with Taylor Morrison, where he played a key role in the successful development of a 364-home community in southeast Austin from June 2017 through December 2021.
During Shawn’s tenure at Taylor Morrison, he was recognized with multiple company honors, including Construction Manager of the Quarter (Q3 2017 and Q3 2019), Construction Manager of the Year (2019), Highest 30-Day Customer Satisfaction (Q4 2020), and the Iron Man Award (Q4 2020). These awards reflect his commitment to operational excellence, schedule performance, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015, majoring in Real Estate Finance and Development with a minor in Construction Management. He is highly organized and takes pride in delivering a quality product while providing clients with a seamless, service-driven building experience.
Shawn resides in southeast Austin with his wife and son. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, golfing, and staying active.
